Last week, Governor Culver signed Executive Order #22 to stand up for hard-working Iowans who deserve good jobs with high-paying wages.
Hours later, every one of the Republican candidates for governor used the executive order as an opportunity to attack Iowa's working families. They even went so far as to call them a "special interest." We know they are using heated political rhetoric to try to win over voters in this year's Republican primary.
We can't let their misguided rhetoric stand. We've drafted an op-ed supporting Governor Culver's work to create high-paying jobs with good benefits. We are asking you to add your name to the statement and stand up for the hard-working Iowans that Governor Culver is fighting for everyday.
