Details:
This Democrats in Action program consists of tape of Governor Chet Culver's and Lt. Governor Patty Judge's re-election kickoff event at the UAW Local 838 Union Hall in Waterloo.  Gov Culver reviews his accomplishments during the past term and summarizes his goals and priorities for the next term.

Cedar Falls CFU channel 95.5 if you have a digital adapter box or CFU channel 18 if you have a standard digital tuner.

Special Guest:  Senator tom Harkin

Inductees: 

Ruth Harkin was one of the first women elected as county prosecutor, and will be inducted to the Iowa Democratic Party’s Hall of Fame as Outstanding Elected Official.

Diane Liepa, who recently retired after working the past 33 years for Senator Harkin, will be inducted as Outstanding Supporter. The Iowa Democratic Party will also pay tribute to the many staff and supporters who have been integral in Senator’s Harkin’s past electoral victories.

This Democrats in Action program consists of a presentation by Roger White about the process of organizing the Democratic Party from the neighborhood precinct to the State party.  The flow of input from the caucus attendees to the platform is also explained.
